RULES & REGULATIONS
Thank you for choosing to fly for Southeast Airways. In order to promote a safe and inviting environment we have established certain requirements and code of conduct for all our pilots. By submitting a user profile you agree to the rules and regulations presented on this page.
Pilot Requirements
All pilots must meet the following requirements.
Be at least 16 years of age.
Own a licensed copy of Xplane 11.
Have a valid email address on file at all times.
Have some level of aeronautical knowledge.
Must be able to operate at least one aircraft in our fleet.
Code of Conduct
Be courteous and respectful to fellow pilots.
Be welcoming to pilots with different experiences. There are many types of virtual pilots, from those who prefer a realistic experience to those who prefer a more casual approach. We aim to provide a welcoming environment for all our pilots.
Share knowledge and offer constructive criticism.
Refrain from using obscene and profane language or content.
Do not engage in illegal activity.
Represent Southeast Airways in a professional manner.
Operational Regulations
There are no flight quotas for Southeast Airways, though we encourage our pilots to make at least one flight per month.
Flights should be logged at the earliest possible convenience.
Pilots are expected to be professional and truthful in logging flights.
Flights can be paused, though only un-paused flight time is to be logged.
Acceleration can be used for longer flights, though actual flight time is to be logged.
Flights do not have to originate from the previous flight’s arrival airfield.
Flights can be saved and restarted from the save point to completion. Actual flight time is to be logged.
Repaints for aircraft are considered the property of Southeast Airways. Repaint files are not to be provided for download on external websites or through other electronic means without the permission of Southeast Airways administration.
Administration
Administration reserves the right to remove/ban a pilot for unethical or disrespectful behavior.
Administration has the final say in the operations of Southeast Airways. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
Administration reserves the right to update the Rules and Regulations at any time.
Privacy
Southeast Airways does not collect personal information beyond what is required to register and maintain a user profile. Personal information is not shared for marketing purposes but may be shared with third party vendors as a requirement to use specific software or services.
